These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Pickleball Time mobile and web application (the "App"), operated by Pickleball Time LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or otherwise using the App, you agree to these Terms.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may only use the App with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information when creating an account or a club, league, or team.
Club and League Administration
Club and league administrators are responsible for the accuracy of the information they enter about players, teams, and matches, including any contact information (such as phone numbers) used to send invites. By entering another person's contact information to invite them to the App, you represent that you have that person's permission to do so.
SMS Messaging
If you provide a phone number, or if a club/league administrator provides it on your behalf to send you an invite, you may receive SMS messages related to that invite or your team participation. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP. See our Privacy Policy for more detail.
Payments
Some leagues require a fee to join, which is processed through Stripe. By paying a league fee, you agree to Stripe's terms of service in addition to these Terms. Refunds, if any, are at the discretion of the relevant club or league administrator, subject to applicable law.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
- Send unsolicited or unauthorized invites, messages, or content through the App.
- Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the App or its underlying systems.
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any club or league.
Content
You retain ownership of content you submit to the App (such as club descriptions, team names, and scores). By submitting content, you grant us a license to use, display, and store that content as necessary to operate the App.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App and request deletion of your account at any time.
Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pickleball Time LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or relating to your use of the App.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
