Pickleball Time LLC ("we," "us," or "our") provides a mobile and web application for organizing pickleball clubs, leagues, teams, and matches (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly to us, and information collected automatically when you use the App:
- Account information: name, email address, and phone number when you create an account or are invited to a club, league, or team.
- Club, league, and team data: club/league/team names, rosters, match schedules, scores, standings, and related content you or a club admin create.
- Payment information: if a league requires a fee, payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number; Stripe handles and stores payment card data on our behalf.
- Communications: if a club or league admin invites you by SMS or email, we process the phone number or email address they provide in order to deliver that invite.
- Device and usage information: app version, device type, crash reports, and general usage analytics, collected via Firebase.
- Push notification tokens: to deliver match reminders and league updates, if you enable notifications.
SMS Messages
If a club or league admin adds you to a roster and provides your phone number, we may send you a one-time SMS invite so you can join the App. We do not use your phone number for marketing messages, and we do not sell or share phone numbers with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
- Message frequency varies (typically a single invite message, plus any messages you opt into afterward, such as team-related notifications).
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP at any time to opt out of further messages.
- Reply HELP for help.
If you believe a club or league admin sent you an invite without your permission, contact us at the email below and we will remove your number.
How We Use Information
- To operate core App features: club/league/team management, scheduling, scores, and standings.
- To send transactional communications, such as invites, match reminders, and account notices.
- To process league payments through Stripe, where applicable.
- To maintain the security, integrity, and reliability of the App, including diagnosing technical issues via Firebase Crashlytics and Analytics.
Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers that help us operate the App, including:
- Firebase (Google) — authentication, analytics, crash reporting, and push notifications.
- Supabase — application database and file storage.
- Stripe — payment processing for paid leagues.
- Twilio — delivery of SMS invite messages.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Pickleball Time LLC, our users, or others.
Data Retention
We retain account and league data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App's features (for example, historical season records). You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by contacting us below.
Your Choices
- You can update your profile information within the App.
- You can opt out of push notifications in your device settings.
- You can opt out of SMS messages by replying STOP.
- You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at the email below.
Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
